Instructions
- Place a large skillet over high heat. Add olive oil (1 Tbsp) and butter (1 Tbsp) and heat until shimmering. 
- Add shallot (1 small) and sauté for four minutes, stirring occasionally. 
- Add garlic (3 cloves) and bacon, sauté until bacon (2 slices) begins to crisp, approximately five minutes. 
- Add almonds (⅓ cup), stirring often, until almonds begin to toast, approximately three minutes. - Add 1 tablespoon butter if the mixture seems dry. 
- Add green beans (1 lb) and toss with the almond/bacon mixture until heated through, about four minutes. 
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
