Sometimes less really is more. This Queso Blanco is creamy, flavorful, and made with just a few simple ingredients. It’s the kind of dip that comes together quickly but feels special every time it hits the table.

And if you happen to have leftovers, don’t let them go to waste — stir a spoonful into tomorrow’s breakfast tacos for an easy way to stretch the flavor. Simple, versatile, and always a favorite.

Instructions

  1. In a medium sized pot, add cheese (16 oz) and just enough milk (1–2 cups) to reach your preferred consistency.

  2. Add green chiles (1 4-oz can), mix to combine.

  3. Once the cheese is completely melted, pour queso into serving bowl.

  4. Top with cojita cheese (¼ cup) and drizzle with hot sauce (2 Tbsp).
